	OUTDOOR SAFETY TIPS
	NEVER allow your bird to fly freely outdoors!  This is for its own protection.   • It may seem like a good idea, but it is NOT good for the bird. • It may fly away and you will NEVER be able to retrieve it, no matter how well it is trained!   • Never restrain your bird with ropes or chains secured to its ankles. • Never restrain your bird with any type of harness. • Bringing your bird outdoors causes a risk from being attacked by birds of prey or other predatory animals.   • If you bring a bird outdoors, make sure you have a good grip on his talons. • Make sure you are aware of anything that can cause harm to the bird. • Never place a bird on the branch of a tree or any outdoor birdfeeders.
