	CAUSES OF STRESS
	• New home • New owners • Temperature extremes (less then 60ºF; greater then 90°F) • Overcrowding • Too much darkness (greater than 15 hours per day) • Too much daylight (greater than 15 hours per day) • Poor caging • Loud noises • Disease • Breeding • Molting • Harrassment from other animals, including humans • Poor nutrition   This is a few, but there are many other causes.  Use common sense and do a little homework!
